Our baby room is designed to offer a calm and tranquil area for the babies to explore and discover. We create opportunities for babies to investigate with different textures.
Our Toddler room offers the next step of adventure and curiosity along their learning journey.
The children have access to natural and real life resources to be creative and use their own imagination of curiosity.
We work closely with parents/carers on the individual needs of their child and nutritional needs. Healthy snacks and meals are discussed with parents.

Mealtimes and snack times at Big Yellow Door Nursery are an important part of our daily routine and support children to develop their social skills. Our meals and snacks are freshly prepared by the catering team at Ranby House School.
The children receive a variety of different foods which allow them to explore many different textures and flavourings. We work closely with parents / carers to ensure it’s an easy transition from milk to solid feeds.
The team is proud to cater for children with dietary requirements including allergies, intolerances and cultural or lifestyle preferences. Our kitchen is regularly inspected by the Food Standards Agency.
Outdoor play is essential from such a young age, the children are encouraged to explore nature and the natural resources.
We have fantastic outdoor spaces for the children to explore nature at its best and what it has to offer from jumping in muddy puddles to educational walks , to watching the wonderful wildlife around us in a green environment.
