Every individual child who attends our nursery will have their own Key person. The Key person will work closely with the child and main carer/s to develop strong working relationship/s. The Key person will take responsibility to monitor and track each child’s progress in their group.Your child’s Key person will also keep you up to date with your child’s progress throughout the year.
Each staff member is dedicated to delivering high levels of care to all our children and to provide an environment to allow them to flourish at Big Yellow Door.

I am a mum to 3 children and have 20 years experience within the childcare industry. Half of my time has been at management level within both the large scale corporate and small scale private sector. I am passionate about the quality of childcare and will always work closely with parents and carers in a partnership approach to ensure strong bonds are created and maintained with each individual child.
I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery.
I have over 10 years experience working in Pre Schools and Day Nurseries with children aged 0 – 5 years, as both as a childcare practitioner and deputy manager. I have 2 grown up children and I enjoy walking my Cocker Spaniel in my spare time. I have a calm and gentle nature which I believe helps to create a good bond with the children from this young age.
I am the Special Educational Needs coordinator.
